Duties
- Draft, review and manage ICT policies in line with best practice and public service prescripts
- Develop ICT strategies, policies and procedures and ensure compliance across the department
- Provide systems and network support, including server administration
- Manage and monitor services related to systems, networks and ICT security
- Oversee backup and restore processes for systems, applications and databases
- Manage anti-virus deployment and related support
- Provide firewall and proxy support services
- Oversee ICT security standards, security solutions, network hardware and equipment
- Develop SOPs and best practices, including protocols and guidance for ICT staff and end-users
- Oversee end-user services such as help desk and technical support
- Manage service level agreements with external ICT service providers in line with the ICT strategy and budget
- Manage human and financial resources within the ICT unit
