1. Enrolled Nursing Assistant
Remuneration: R15 872.78 per month (basic salary, excluding benefits)
Location: Region B, C, F & G
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4 plus Enrolled Nursing Assistant Certificate
- Minimum of 1 year post-training as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Primary Function:
Provide basic nursing care within primary healthcare services, support community awareness programmes, and assist professional staff in managing communicable and non-communicable diseases.
Key Performance Areas:
- Provide total nursing care to patients and families within prescribed scope of practice
- Record and maintain clinical data accurately
- Participate in community health education and awareness programmes
- Assist in implementing health promotion activities (immunisation, chronic diseases, etc.)
- Conduct administrative and procedural duties

2. Enrolled Nurse

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4
- Certificate of Enrolled Nursing (NQF Level 5 / HNC equivalent)
- Current registration with SANC under Regulation R2175
- Minimum of 2 years post-enrolment experience as a Staff Nurse
- At least 1 year’s experience in a Primary Healthcare (PHC) environment
Primary Function:
Deliver quality, comprehensive nursing care to individuals, families, and communities. Promote preventive health, manage illnesses, and provide referrals for cases beyond scope.

- Assess, diagnose, and provide preventive and curative health care services
- Maintain accurate patient and clinical records
- Support professional staff in disease management
- Conduct community health education programmes
- Uphold customer-focused service delivery standards
