Central Karoo Municipality EPWP Law Enforcement Vacancies: Apply by 7 October 2025

The Central Karoo District Municipality (CKDM) is offering unemployed individuals an opportunity to join its Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) as Law Enforcement Officers. This contract appointment is valid until 30 June 2026, with placements in Laingsburg and Beaufort West. If you meet the requirements, submit your application before the closing date.

Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • No criminal record
  • Ability to speak at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Valid Code B driving licence
  • Accredited Peace Officer or Traffic Warden Certificate
  • Must be unemployed and not registered for any other learnership or internship
  • Must reside within the Central Karoo District Municipal Area
  • Must be physically fit

  1. Completed EPWP/Temporary Worker Unemployed Database Application Form
  2. Clear certified copy of ID (not older than 6 months)
  3. Copy of bank statement (not older than 3 months)
  4. Copies of qualifications
  5. SARS tax number
  6. Contact number
  7. Proof of physical fitness
