Senior Accountant: Revenue/Receivables (x3)
Job Purpose
To support the Finance Division through effective revenue and receivables management, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and standards, accurate reporting, and sound internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and finance guidelines
- Financial Operations: Ensure compliance with processes and procedures for efficient and effective operations in line with policies and regulatory requirements
- Receipts & Receivables: Perform monthly bank reconciliations on all cash deposits
- Reporting Management: Maintain systems to ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with GRAP and PFMA
- Compile statutory financial reports and support audits and financial reviews
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Degree in Accounting or Finance (NQF Level 7) recognised by SAQA
Required Skills and Attributes
- Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience in compiling statutory financial reports
- Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Pastel
- Attributes: High attention to detail and accuracy
