Requirements

  • NQF Level 4/Grade 12.
  • National Diploma: Legal Interpreting (NQF 5) or other relevant NQF 5 qualification.
  • Proficiency in English and two or more indigenous languages.
  • 6 years’ experience as a Court Interpreter, of which 3 years at supervisory level.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Skills & Competencies: MS Office, excellent verbal/written communication, listening and time management, analytical/problem-solving abilities, planning/organising, confidentiality, ability to work under pressure, art of interpreting.

Duties

  • Manage the cluster’s legal interpreting and language services.
  • Develop and implement the business plan for interpreting/language services.
  • Manage human and non-human resources.
  • Oversee training and development of court interpreters.
  • Ensure compliance with the code of conduct.

Requirements

  • NQF Level 4/Grade 12.
  • National Diploma: Legal Interpreting (NQF 5) or relevant NQF 5 qualification.
  • Proficiency in English and two (2) or more indigenous languages.
  • 5 years practical experience as Court Interpreter, including 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Skills & Competencies: Communication, listening, interpersonal skills, time management, MS Office, analytical and problem-solving skills, planning/organising, confidentiality, ability to work under pressure, art of interpreting.

Duties

  • Manage and supervise interpreters.
  • Render interpreting services and translate legal documents/exhibits.
  • Develop terminology and assist with reconstruction of court records.
  • Handle personnel administration and people management.

Requirements

  • LLB Degree or four-year recognised legal qualification.
  • Knowledge of the maintenance system, Maintenance Act, and family law.
  • Understanding of services and procedures in Maintenance.
  • Proficiency in at least two official languages.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Duties

  • Exercise powers/functions of a Maintenance Officer (Maintenance Act).
  • Obtain financial information for maintenance enquiries.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • 7–12 months appropriate work experience.

Duties

  • Execute office debt collection processes.
  • Draft routine correspondence, reports and pleadings (summons, warrants, judgments, s65 notices).

  • Manage filing systems and render financial accounting transactions.
  • Calculate payments/interest; consult clients/debtors to negotiate payments.
