Assistant Director: Occupational Health Projects

Department: Group Corporate and Shared Services
Branch: Group SHELA and FCM
Salary: R53 022.85 per month (basic salary, excluding benefits)
Job Type: Permanent

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 4-year Comprehensive Nursing Diploma or BA.CUR with Community Nursing Science (NQF Level 7)
  • Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing
  • Dispensing course certificate
  • Certificate in HIV/AIDS and TB Management
  • Certifications in Spirometry, Audiometry, and Vision
  • 6–8 years supervisory experience in occupational health or environmental control
  • 5–8 years clinical experience in occupational health

Primary Function:
Manage and coordinate the City’s Occupational Health Projects, medical surveillance programmes, and strategic implementation within departments, regions, and municipal entities.
