Available Positions
1. Director: Co-operative Education Directorate
- Ref: ACE1 | Type: 5-Year Fixed Term Contract
- Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent; 5 years in Cooperative Education management.
- Duties: Strategic planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, WIL programme development.
- Salary: R888 318 – R1 220 834 p.a. (plus benefits)
2. Director: Quality Management Directorate
- Ref: AQ01 | Type: 5-Year Fixed Term Contract
- Requirements: Doctoral degree; 7 years teaching; 3 years management in HE; QA and curriculum expertise.
- Duties: Institutional quality strategy, audits, academic programme support.
- Salary: R888 318 – R1 220 834 p.a. (plus benefits)
3. Postdoctoral Research Fellow
- Focus: General Relativity in Modified Gravity Theories
- Duration: 1-Year Fixed Contract
- Stipend: R300 000 per annum (tax-free)
- Requirements: PhD in Applied Mathematics or related field (within 5 years); 2 DHET-accredited publications.
4. Student Registration Assistant (Second Semester 2025)
- Type: Part-Time Student Role
- Requirements: Registered MUT student (2nd year or above), strong communication and admin skills.
- Duties: Registration support, customer service, admin.
