- The Thandulwazi Trust, in partnership with St Stithians College, is offering prospective teachers the opportunity to study towards a part-time 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Maths and Science or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Foundation while gaining workplace experience at St Stithians College. Successful candidates will be appointed from March 2021.
- The Thandulwazi Interns study part-time for their chosen degrees, while undertaking on-the-job Teacher training at St Stithians College. The College is a co-ordinate model, comprising of five St Stithians schools on one campus which cater for pupils across the phases; from the Foundation Phase to the Further Education & Training (FET) Phase.
- The College has the personnel, skills and experience to develop and train potential Professional Educators thus making a difference to the educational sector in South Africa. Interns have the opportunity to train in a well-run school environment; with superbly equipped classrooms and facilities; to work with highly trained and professional Teachers (Meister Teachers) and interact with Students, thus acquiring the skills and methods needed for effective teaching and classroom management.
