Post Title: Digital Channel Manager
Purpose of the Role:
To lead and manage South African Tourism’s digital channels by developing and executing marketing strategies that build brand presence, drive traffic, and generate leads across digital platforms. The position reports to the General Manager: Brand and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise SA Tourism’s front-end digital properties.
- Drive strategy for digital brand presence in key global markets.
- Monitor digital campaign analytics and performance.
- Collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
- Align digital strategy with broader brand and content strategies.
- Identify trends and integrate innovative digital techniques.
- Develop and oversee market-specific digital channel plans.
- Provide advisory services on digital channel management to internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- IMM or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising.
- At least 10 years of collective working experience in:
- Digital Marketing
- Strategy Development
- Media Planning and Execution
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in digital marketing, SEO, PPC, SEM, and social media advertising.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Technical proficiency and project management capabilities.
- Ability to lead innovative initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (PFMA, Public Service Act, etc.)
