Requirements
- Studying towards a Masters in Research Psychology and requiring a one-year internship with a research entity
- Good research writing skills
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Willing to travel within South Africa
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- At least 6 months of relevant research experience
- Knowledge of violence/homicides/research in police and justice sector
- Knowledge of femicide
- Knowledge of the use of media for research uptake activities
- Knowledge of web-based data collection e.g. Redcap
- Quantitative research skills / Qualitative research skills
- Data collection planning skills
- Evidence of research publication
- Good knowledge and experience of using various computer software packages including Excel, SPSS, Word, and PowerPoint.
