Requirements:

  • ABET / Grade 11 or equivalent
  • PSIRA registration with at least Grade C certificate
  • 0–2 years’ experience in security operations
  • Knowledge of security legislation, Batho Pele Principles, MISS, and public service regulations
  • Willingness to work shifts (day/night), weekends and public holidays

Duties:

  • Perform access control and visitor management
  • Operate x-ray machines and metal detectors
  • Monitor premises, identify suspicious conduct and record incidents
  • Ensure safety of people, assets and information

  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of MISS, MPSS, Criminal Procedure Act and Protection of Information Act
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and irregular hours

Duties:

  • Supervise and allocate duties to security officers/service providers
  • Monitor access control and authorise movement of assets
  • Administer control room operations and alarm systems
  • Identify risks, review incident registers and perform administrative duties
