Accounting Clerk: Financial Accounting Services (X2 Posts) — Ref No: MISA/AC-FAS/02

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 5)
Centre: MISA Head Office, Centurion

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (no experience required).
  • Core competencies: Financial Management.
  • Generic competencies: Problem solving & analysis, client orientation & customer focus, communication (verbal & written), computer literacy.
  • Technical: Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, BAS, and PERSAL or VIP payroll systems.

Duties

  • Process invoices within 30 days.
  • Create debts and follow up on recoveries.
  • Capture journals and compile monthly cashbooks.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and filing.
  • Salaries section: process payroll, reconcile employee tax, process third-party pay-overs and T&S claims, and maintain filing.

Supply Chain Clerk: Demand and Acquisition — Ref No: MISA/SCC-DA/03

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 5)
Centre: MISA Head Office, Centurion

Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent recognised by SAQA.
  • Client orientation & customer focus, problem solving, planning & organising, communication (verbal & written), computer literacy.
  • Technical: Understanding of procurement processes, Treasury Regulation 8.2.3, and PPPFA.

Duties

  • Provide secretariat support during bid considerations and contract conclusion.
  • Update and maintain supplier database; register suppliers on LOGIS or similar.
  • Request/receive quotations, place orders, and capture specifications on e-purchasing systems.
  • Issue and receive bid documents.
