1. General Worker (x2) – L14A-14

Department: Social Services (Parks Division)
Salary: R159 804 – R165 912 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Mental fitness and ability to read and write.

Key Duties:
Operate mowing and gardening equipment; perform general maintenance and cleaning of gardens; collect litter; and report work-related issues to the supervisor.


2. Machine Operator – L14

Department: Social Services (Parks Division)
Salary: R163 824 – R165 912 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Mental fitness and ability to read and write.

Key Duties:
Operate mowing and gardening equipment, maintain gardens, and ensure safe handling of general garden refuse.


3. Operator (Grade 4 L12)

Department: Social Services (Parks Division)
Salary: R183 132 – R199 320 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 or equivalent (NQF Level 2).
  • Code 10 driver’s licence with PrDP.
  • One (1) year relevant experience.

Key Duties:
Transport people, plants, and materials; perform basic vehicle maintenance; and assist in gardening and cleaning at parks, stadiums, and cemeteries.


4. Accountant: Expenditure – L4

Department: Budget & Treasury (Expenditure Division)
Salary: R516 036 – R542 316 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • B Degree in Financial Management or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years’ payroll experience.
  • Certificate in Municipal Financial Management Programme (MFMP) – Advantage.
  • Code B driver’s licence.

Key Duties:
Administer payroll, petty cash, and payments to suppliers; post and verify transactions; compile financial journals; and supervise staff.


5. Data Capturer Clerk – L7

Department: Budget & Treasury (Expenditure Division)
Salary: R338 580 – R392 832 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 plus National Certificate in Financial Management.
  • One (1) year experience in a financial environment.

Key Duties:
Capture financial transactions, reconcile petty cash, and process salary journals and garnishee orders.


6. Enquiries Clerk – L7

Department: Budget & Treasury (Revenue Division)
Salary: R338 580 – R392 832 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 plus National Certificate in Financial Management.
  • One (1) year experience in revenue management.

Key Duties:
Open and close municipal accounts, process consumer statements, manage customer queries, and maintain registers for accounts.


7. Skills Development Facilitator – L5

Department: Corporate Support (Human Resources Division)
Salary: R465 748 – R503 388 per annum + benefits
Travelling Allowance: 1100 km

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in HRD / Management of Training / HRM or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years’ HR/Skills Development experience.
  • Code B driver’s licence.

Key Duties:
Identify training needs, compile Work Skills and Annual Training Reports, coordinate training programmes, and implement the Employment Equity Plan.


8. Admin Assistant – L6

Department: Corporate Support (Admin & Secretariat Division)
Salary: R402 636 – R444 768 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 plus Computer Certificate.
  • Two (2) years’ administrative experience.

Key Duties:
Process grave applications, maintain cemetery records, assist with municipal hall bookings, and handle documentation for funerals and tombstones.


9. Grader Operator – L10

Department: Infrastructure Services (Public Works Division)
Salary: R221 628 – R245 136 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 with Grader Operator Certificate.
  • Five (5) years’ municipal experience.
  • Code 10 licence with PrDP.

Key Duties:
Operate graders for blading gravel roads, transport materials, and maintain school grounds and sports fields.


10. Mechanical Broom Sweeper / TLB Operator – L10

Department: Infrastructure Services (Public Works Division)
Salary: R221 628 – R245 136 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 and TLB / Mechanical Broom Sweeper Certificate.
  • One (1) year relevant experience.
  • Code 10 licence with PrDP.

Key Duties:
Sweep roads in towns and villages; operate mechanical broom and TLB; and assist with material loading and clean-up.


11. Artisan Carpenter – L6

Department: Infrastructure Services (Public Works Division)
Salary: R402 636 – R444 768 per annum + benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 and Trade Test in Bricklaying/Carpentry.
  • Five (5) years’ municipal building experience.
  • Code C driver’s licence.

Key Duties:
Install ceilings and tiles, repair furniture, monitor office movements, oversee building repairs, and maintain municipal infrastructure.
