Minimum Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Commerce
  • A Master’s Degree (NQF 9) is an added advantage
  • 3–5 years relevant experience in:
    • Administration
    • Report writing
    • Data extraction, verification, and interpretation
  • Experience in planning/reporting and familiarity with PFMA and National Treasury regulations is advantageous
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent report writing and English literacy skills
  • Strong planning, scheduling, organisational, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines, work independently and within a team
  • High personal motivation, attention to detail, and self-management

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in compiling quarterly, annual, and ad hoc institutional reports
  • Write high-level reports by extracting accurate information from multiple data sources
  • Analyse and verify institutional performance information
  • Coordinate the collection of information for meeting packs and institutional reporting
  • Capture and manage procurement activities on electronic systems
  • Maintain and update policy documents and internal guidelines
  • Organise and document meetings, including preparing minutes
  • Accurately capture institutional data on government systems
  • Support other general initiatives and tasks in the Institutional Planning and Reporting Unit
