Available Position
Temporary Administrative Officer – Asset Management
- Reference: HDA TAOAM001
- Term: Six-month contract
- Remuneration: R394,200 – R492,750 (All-inclusive package, per annum equivalent)
- Reporting Line: Senior SCM Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with asset management legislation and internal policies
- Barcode and register all acquired assets; maintain and update the asset register
- Conduct regular asset verification at head and regional offices
- Compile and present asset verification reports to EXCO and the Board
- Facilitate disposal of obsolete or damaged assets as per HDA policy
- Coordinate movement of assets during office relocations
- Participate in Supply Chain Management (SCM) Committees as required
- Train staff on asset and disposal policy implementation
Minimum Requirements:
- A 3-year Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Finance
- Minimum 5 years’ public sector asset management experience
- Sound knowledge of PFMA, GRAP, Treasury Regulations, and OHS Act
- Experience with Sage or other Asset Management Systems
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally
