Personal Assistant (PA) to the Chief Financial Officer

Office/Unit: Finance
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the CFO, including:
- Answering and screening telephone calls
- Acting as a liaison officer on behalf of the CFO’s office
- Making travel and accommodation arrangements
- Preparing reports and correspondence for the CFO and Finance Manager
- Managing and coordinating the CFO’s appointments
- Arranging meetings, preparing agendas and venues, and taking minutes for:
- Finance and Administration meetings
- Finance Committee
- ICT Committee
- Loss Control Committee
- Bid Adjudication Committee (BAC)
- Assets Disposal Committee
- Filing and archiving departmental documents
- Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of financial documents for the CFO’s office
- Organising and managing office activities as delegated
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Administration or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience as a Personal Assistant
- Intermediate or Advanced computer literacy certificate
- South African citizenship

- Strong organisational skills
- Problem solving and analytical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
- Ability to handle confidential matters
- Understanding of financial terminology
- Honesty and integrity
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
