Post Title: Manager: Customer Relations
Department: Group Corporate & Shared Services – Group SHELA & FCM
Location: JD House, 27 Stiemens Street, Braamfontein
Remuneration: R47 405.13 per month (excluding benefits)
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a Degree in Public Administration, Performance Management, Business Management or related (NQF level 7)
- 5–7 years of experience in performance management/business planning
- Managerial experience
- Code 08 Driver’s Licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement performance management systems
- Prepare performance-related reports and presentations
- Align departmental scorecards to City strategic plans
- Ensure compliance with legislation (MFMA, MSA)
- Lead performance audits and evaluations
Core Competencies:
- Understanding of municipal legislation and CoJ’s strategic frameworks
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Project management and stakeholder coordination
- Excellent interpersonal, report writing, and communication skills
Post Title: Assistant Director: Training and Process Development
Department: Group Corporate & Shared Services – Group SHELA & FCM
Location: JD House, 27 Stiemens Street, Braamfontein
Remuneration: R53 022.85 per month (excluding benefits)
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a Degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or Occupational Health (NQF level 7)
- Advanced SAMTRAC, Train-the-Trainer, and ISO 9001/14001/45001 certification
- 6–8 years supervisory experience in occupational safety, training, or environmental control
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of SHE training and development
- Identify health and safety training needs
- Develop and manage training programmes
- Oversee compliance with health and safety legislation
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of HR processes, MFMA, Labour and Safety Legislation
- Leadership, training, planning, and communication skills
- Risk management and facilitation
