Remuneration: R12 809.74 per month (basic salary, excluding benefits)
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 (NQF level 2)
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in cash handling and customer service
- Proof of residence required (preference for City of Johannesburg residents)
- Experience in high-pressure public service environments is an added advantage
Primary Function:
To carry out station-related duties including card sales, customer care, cash handling, stakeholder communication, and ensuring smooth daily station operations for Rea Vaya services.
Key Performance Areas:
- Perform pre-shift inspections and float/stock reconciliations
- Process card sales and trip top-ups
- Conduct banking and inventory management tasks
- Provide professional customer care
- Handle stakeholder communication and station administrative duties
Leading Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Basic to intermediate numeracy
- Ability to resolve queries on the spot
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Basic understanding of customer service practices
- Attention to detail, teamwork, professionalism, and ethics aligned with Batho Pele principles
