Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Revenue Sub-directorate
  • Ensure compliance with financial legislation and reporting
  • Monitor revenue and related expenditure
  • Manage revenue audits and internal controls
  • Oversee human resource and training for the division

Requirements:

  • Matric and Degree/NQF 7 or Diploma in Real Estate or Property Valuation
  • Registration with SACPVP as Professional Valuer or Professional Associated Valuer
  • 10 years’ valuation experience (5 in local authority)
  • Strong managerial and financial experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the City’s Valuation Services for over 965,000 properties
  • Fulfill duties as designated Municipal Valuer under the Municipal Property Rates Act
  • Develop valuation policies and strategies
  • Oversee legal compliance, performance, and financial management
  • Manage internal teams and external service delivery
