Qualifications and Requirements:
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 is an added advantage)
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Code EB driver’s licence
- 1 year relevant experience
- Ability to work overtime and on uneven terrain
Key Performance Areas:
- Operate and maintain water networks
- Execute plumbing work
- Conduct health and safety briefings
- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements
- Report safety hazards and incidents
- Distribute work schedules to subordinates
- Check tools and materials
- Transport employees to and from work sites
Post 2: By-Law Enforcement Officer (x3) – Re-Advertisement
Post Level: 08
Salary Scale: R271 876,97 – R307 909,75 per annum

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Basic Law Enforcement training from an accredited institution
- Code EB driver’s licence
- No criminal record
- Firearm proficiency
- 2–5 years relevant experience
Key Performance Areas:
- Identify and document by-law contraventions
- Prepare and submit reports on violations
- Ensure proper documentation of evidence
- Represent the municipality in prosecution proceedings
- Issue non-compliance notices
- Undertake patrols (foot and mobile)
- Conduct inspections for by-law compliance in businesses, households, industries, and taxi ranks
