Requirements
- Grade 8 qualification
- First Aid Certificate
- Lifesaver’s Award (Bronze) Certificate
- Must be physically fit
- Minimum of one (1) year lifesaving experience
Key Performance Areas
- Rescue drowning persons and ensure pool safety
- Monitor and enforce compliance with pool and public safety by-laws
- Assist with setup and coordination for gala events
- Ensure temperature readings of the pool are conducted
- May be required to work at other coastal or inland workstations at own cost
