Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 1 year industrial environment experience
- Forklift/Cherry picker licence (advantage)
- Able to work in confined spaces & at heights
Duties:
- Assist artisans with equipment maintenance
- General cleaning, painting, and yard work
- Equipment transport, workshop housekeeping
2. Handyman (Boathouse)

Job Grade: B1
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 1 year experience in boat building or fibre product manufacturing
Duties:
- Equipment and facility maintenance
- Boathouse cleaning and upkeep
- Use of tools and safety adherence
3. Chief Handyman: Upholsterer

Requirements:
- Grade 12/N3
- Upholstery Certificate (NQF Level 3)
- 3 years upholstery/equipment covering experience
Duties:
- Design, manufacture, and repair upholstery
- Provide thermal insulation services
- Use industrial sewing tools and interpret drawings

- 2 years foundry environment experience
Duties:
- Create wooden/epoxy patterns
- Operate woodworking and machining equipment

Requirements:
- National Diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement or CIPS Level 4
- 3–5 years procurement experience
Duties:
- Analyse requisitions and source suppliers
- Apply PFMA and procurement policies
- Handle RFQs, reporting, and stakeholder liaison
6. Analytical Chemist

Requirements:
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
- 3 years chemistry experience
- Registration with SACNASP (advantage)
- Physically fit for confined space and height work
Duties:
- Perform water, fuel, gas, and lubricant analysis
- Support SA Navy vessels with chemical testing
- Certify gas-free environments on ships
- Use spectrometers, viscometers, chromatography etc.
