The Northern Cape Department of Provincial Treasury has announced a new round of recruitment, inviting qualified and interested candidates to apply for 15 vacant posts based in Kimberley. The vacancies form part of the Northern Cape Provincial Administration’s commitment to service delivery, sound financial governance, and employment equity.

Personal Assistant Posts at Senior Management Level
Two Personal Assistant positions have been advertised at competitive salary levels:
- Personal Assistant to the Head of Department
Post 04/218 | Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum (Level 06)
This role requires an NQF Level 6 qualification in Secretarial, Office Management, or a related field, with 2–3 years’ experience. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative, secretarial, financial, and logistical support to the Head of Department, including diary management, report compilation, meeting coordination, and budget administration. - Personal Assistant: Chief Director – Internal Audit & Audit Committee
Post 04/219 | Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum (Level 07)
This position supports the Chief Director and Joint Audit Committee, with duties ranging from managing schedules and correspondence to coordinating audit committee meetings, compiling reports, and monitoring expenditure against budget allocations.
Cleaner Posts (12 Positions Available)
The Department is also recruiting 12 Cleaners under Post 04/220, offering salaries between R138 486 and R163 131 per annum (Level 02). These entry-level posts require a minimum of Grade 10 or ABET Level 2, with no prior experience required.
Duties include cleaning offices, boardrooms, kitchens, toilets, corridors, and elevators, as well as maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies in line with Public Service standards and Batho Pele principles.
