Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
  • Diploma in Project Management or equivalent (NQF level 6)
  • 2–3 years of experience in managing and overseeing developmental projects, monitoring, and evaluation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties including typing, data capturing, record keeping, filing, and asset management
  • Assist in financial processes such as payments and reconciliations
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

Competencies:

  • Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel)
  • Effective planning, coordination, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and Batho Pele principles

  • Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute media relations between the Executive Mayor’s Office and external stakeholders
  • Develop strategies for social media engagement and media communication
  • Coordinate public-facing messaging, reporting, and stakeholder communication

Competencies:

  • Excellent project planning and report writing skills
  • Understanding of online and social media platforms and tools
  • Familiarity with the local government communication landscape
