Requirements:
- Honours degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or Health Informatics
- Honours average >65%
- South African citizenship and valid driver’s license
- Strong data management, programming (e.g., Python/R), and analysis skills
- Interest in public health and collaborative work
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and implement a Master’s level sub-study under WEATHER
- Register for a Master’s degree within six months
- Collect, clean, and analyze health data; interpret findings
- Present findings through conferences and publications

- 4-Year BPsych degree registered with HPCSA, MA in Social Work (Mental Health), or 4-Year Nursing qualification
- 1 year fieldwork experience

Essential Competencies:
- Experience in mental health research and community work
- Fluent in isiZulu and English
- Willingness to travel to healthcare and rural/urban community sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interviews
- Conduct household and healthcare facility visits
- Liaise with patients, families, community health workers, and stakeholders
