Post Title: Executive Manager: Project Management and Implementation (PMI)
Total Guaranteed Pay: Market-related
Purpose of the Role:
To lead and direct TCTA’s project management and implementation functions, ensuring effective delivery of large water infrastructure projects aligned with government development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Engineering, Environment, and Project Management departments.
- Oversee implementation of large-scale water infrastructure and ensure effective operations and maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with TCTA’s combined assurance policies and relevant legislation.
- Lead internal and external water sector initiatives.
- Develop and sustain a high-performing, capacitated PMI division.
Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 8 qualification in Engineering or Science.
- At least 12 years’ experience, with a minimum of 5 years at senior management level.
- Proven track record in managing and implementing large infrastructure projects.
Advantageous:
- NQF Level 9 (Master’s degree such as MBA)
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
- Executive leadership experience
- Familiarity with PFMA, water sector operations, and mergers
