Swartland Municipality: Scholarship / Bursary Opportunities 2020

Swartland Municipality invites suitable applicants to apply for Scholarship / Bursary Programme for 2020.

Closing Date: 6th December 2019

Swartland Municipality will be offering bursaries for full-time studies at approved tertiary institutions to those persons residing in the greater Swartland Municipal Area.  Candidates who will be registering for an undergraduate degree/diploma in one of the approved fields of study in 2020 are encouraged to apply.

  • Economics
  • Accounting
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Internal Audit
  • Risk Management

Requirements

  • Applicants must be South African Citizens, aged 17 to 35 years
  • A minimum level of 60% in the subjects Mathematics and Accounting at high school (learners currently in grade 12 should please submit results for December 2018 and June 2019)
  • Must not be in possession of another bursary
  • Preference will be given to candidates from historically disadvantaged societal groups and/or individuals with disabilities.

Bursaries will cover registration, examination and class fees.

Only hand delivered or posted applications will be considered. If you do not receive any communication within three months after the closing date for applications, please consider your application as unsuccessful.

Completed application forms and including certified copies of qualifications, are to be forwarded to the Human Resource Section, Private Bag X52, Malmesbury 7299. Applications forwarded via fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
