✅ Requirements
Qualifications:
- Diploma (NQF 6) in Business Administration or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant procurement systems
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in Supply Chain Management administration
- At least 1 year of experience in public sector SCM is preferred
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition Administration
- Publish bid adverts and record awarded bids
- Process RFQs, conduct supplier verifications (CSD, BBBEE), and maintain procurement registers
- Draft recommendation reports for SCM Officer review
Asset Administration
- Tag new assets, perform quarterly asset counts, support disposal committee
- Report and coordinate the asset disposal process
SCM Administration
- Provide full administrative support: filing, scheduling, records
- Maintain commitment and contract registers, upload awards to National Treasury CRA
Logistics Management
- Manage supplier performance and orders via Sage Advanced Procurement
- Ensure compliance to prevent UIF expenditure
- Match invoices with contracts or purchase orders and process for payment
