Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or similar
- 5–7 years’ experience in Data Analytics; 2–3 years at specialist level
- OR Senior Certificate + 10 years’ experience in Data Analytics
Key Skills:
- Advanced SQL, Python or R, Power BI, C#, SSIS, SSAS
- GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer)
- Data modelling, ETL, visualisation, and automation
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture
- Advantageous: experience with government data systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test medium to complex data analytics solutions
- Analyse trends, generate reports, maintain data pipelines
- Apply statistical models, automation tools, and business intelligence techniques
- Ensure data compliance, integrity, and system optimisation

- Honours / Postgrad Diploma (NQF 8) in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science + 10–12 years in innovation/design/technology, with 3–4 years at specialist level
- OR Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) + 15 years’ experience

- Lead innovation through solution design, prototyping, and piloting
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to solve complex strategic problems
- Develop foresight reports, business cases, and modernisation roadmaps
- Manage prototype governance and track implementation impact
- Analyse complex systems and guide organisational modernisation strategies
