Minimum Requirements
- Education: LLB and Admitted Attorney
- Experience: 8–10 years in a tax law or legal environment, of which 3–4 years must be at operational specialist level in litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent SARS in ADR processes and internal legal presentations.
- Draft legal agreements and contribute to the resolution of complex legal issues.
- Identify tax loopholes and propose legal interventions to close the tax gap.
- Analyse case law and provide high-level recommendations.
- Develop legal governance practices and support strategic planning in the legal unit.
- Provide mentorship and legal thought leadership to internal teams.
