Purpose:
As a Consultant: Medical Management, you will implement medical management activities, handle medical exceptions, and support claims processing administratively. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and ethical medical claims management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical assessments and compile injury reports.
  • Review submitted claims for adherence to RAF clinical guidelines and tariffs.
  • Preauthorize claims aligned with treatment protocols.
  • Handle exceptions and escalate complex cases for multidisciplinary review.
  • Generate reports and manage stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences or a medical-related qualification.
  • Registration with HPCSA/SANCA.

Experience:

  • 3 years of relevant experience in a medical-related environment.

2. Manager: Business Support

Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Manager: Facilities Management, this role ensures the effective administration and management of facilities-related processes across RAF offices nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental policies and processes.
  • Oversee communal fixed asset registers and manage asset disposals.
  • Ensure contracts are in place for all facilities management services.
  • Manage financial services, including payment authorizations and budget variance analysis.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management decisions.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Facilities Management or related qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Facilities Management is advantageous.

Experience:

  • 6-8 years in facilities management, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
