Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with a renowned South African campaign? Proudly South African is currently seeking a Receptionist and HR Support to join their team on a fixed-term 3-year contract. Position: Receptionist and HR Support

Location: South Africa
Contract: 3-year fixed-term
Salary: R18,000 to R20,000 per month plus benefits

Key Roles and Responsibilities

As the Receptionist and HR Support, your role will involve a combination of administrative tasks, reception duties, and HR support. The key responsibilities include:

  • Reception & Switchboard: Answering calls, directing them to the right person, and managing the reception area to ensure it is always organized and welcoming.
  • Travel & Accommodation Arrangements: Booking travel, accommodations, and managing itineraries for staff.
  • Boardroom Management: Handling boardroom bookings and ensuring that the space is prepared for meetings.
  • Administrative Support: Providing assistance to the HR department by compiling purchase requisitions, obtaining quotes, and handling other HR-related administrative duties.
  • Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and coordination of staff functions and events.
  • Meeting Support: Taking minutes and assisting in organizing HR department meetings.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications and experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Administrative/Secretarial Qualification (Diploma or Certificate)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in reception, administration, and travel arrangements
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Human Resources qualification or experience (Advantageous)
  • Willingness to work after hours occasionally
  • Driver’s licence and own vehicle (Advantageous)
