1. Manager: ICT Infrastructure
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Grade: Competitive salary aligned to NHBRC salary bands
Reporting To: Chief Information Officer
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT infrastructure management
- At least two of the following certifications: CCNP, CCNA, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, CISSP
- Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), network security, and disaster recovery
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ICT infrastructure strategy
- Lead infrastructure projects and cloud migrations
- Ensure cybersecurity, business continuity and regulatory compliance
- Manage internal IT teams and external service providers
- Drive infrastructure optimization, support, and innovation
- Develop policies, service level agreements, and compliance reporting
- Budget and procurement oversight

2. Chief Risk Officer
Contract Type: 5-Year Fixed Term Contract
Job Grade: Competitive salary aligned to NHBRC salary bands
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Requirements:
- Honours Degree (NQF 7) in Risk Management, Commerce, LLB, or Administration
- Certification in Risk Management, CA, or CIA (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years in risk/audit/compliance roles, with 3 years at senior management
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and Enterprise Risk Management frameworks
- Proven leadership and strategic planning skills
- Understanding of investments, insurance, and corporate governance
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement NHBRC’s enterprise risk management framework
- Monitor compliance with corporate governance, legal, and audit requirements
- Lead risk reporting and internal controls
- Liaise with stakeholders and governance committees (Council, ARMCO, etc.)
- Promote a risk-aware culture across NHBRC
- Direct risk assessments, mitigation, and audit responses
- Provide strategic risk-related insights to the CEO
