Post 1: Manager – ICT Infrastructure
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Grade: Competitive salary aligned with NHBRC salary grades
Reporting To: Chief Information Officer
Location: Head Office, Sunninghill
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT infrastructure management
- Certifications (at least two): CCNP, CCNA, Windows Server, M365, AWS, Azure, CISSP
- Experience in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), network architecture, cybersecurity, virtualization, ITIL
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain ICT infrastructure (cloud and on-premises)
- Manage teams and service providers
- Ensure cybersecurity, performance monitoring, and compliance
- Lead infrastructure projects and service-level agreements
- Develop and maintain ICT policies, strategies, and systems documentation

Post 2: Chief Risk Officer
Contract Type: 5-year fixed-term
Job Grade: Competitive salary aligned with NHBRC salary grades
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Central Office, Sunninghill
Requirements:
- Honours degree (NQF 7) in Risk Management, Law, Commerce or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years in risk/audit/compliance, with 3 years in senior management
- Risk management certifications (e.g., CA, CIA) are an advantage
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, corporate governance, ERM tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee enterprise risk management (ERM) framework
- Monitor compliance with legal and governance standards (PFMA, King III)
- Lead risk reporting, fraud detection, and regulatory adherence
- Establish and manage enterprise-wide information security programs
- Represent NHBRC at executive and council levels regarding risk matters
