1. Assistant Director: Donor Funding and IGR

Sub-Directorate: Intergovernmental Relations, Donor Funding, and Education Trust
Salary: R444 036 per annum
Centre: Head Office, Polokwane

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) recognized by SAQA.
  • Five (5) years of experience, with at least three (3) years at a supervisory level (Level 7/8) in a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for people with disabilities).
  • Strong skills in knowledge management, problem-solving, financial management, and project planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage intergovernmental relations and donor funding.
  • Participate in national, provincial, and local government partnerships.
  • Oversee the implementation of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with SADC and foreign countries.

2. Senior State Accountant: Budget

Sub-Directorate: Finance
Salary: R376 413 per annum
Centre: Head Office, Polokwane

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) recognized by SAQA.
  • A qualification in Accounting or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Proficiency in financial regulations, budgeting, PFMA, BAS, and PERSAL systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Prepare strategic budget documents.
  • Consolidate financial information for MTEF, AENE, and ENE.
  • Handle budget adjustments and cash flow monitoring.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) recognized by SAQA.
  • A qualification in Accounting, Auditing, Law, Internal Auditing, Criminal Justice, or Forensic Investigations is an added advantage.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in forensic investigations or commercial crime.

  • Strong investigative, analytical, and report-writing skills.

  • Conduct forensic investigations into fraud and corruption.
  • Develop investigation plans and reports.
  • Report risks to the Risk and Advisory Services Unit.
  • Monitor risk trends and detect environmental changes.

4. Artisan Foreman (Mechanical)

Requirements:

  • Junior Certificate and N3 Certificate.
  • Motor Mechanic Trade Test Certificate (as per Section 28 of the Manpower Training Act, 1981).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience as a motor mechanic.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair.

  • Perform high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance.
