Requirements

  • Matric/N3 plus a relevant Bachelors’ Degree or three year National Diploma, with 6 years working experience in labour relations of which 4 years must be in a position with relevant supervisory responsibility
  • An additional qualification in labour relations will be a strong recommendation
  • Proven/evident successful experience in administration within the public or private sector labour relations environment
  • Competent knowledge and understanding of relevant labour relations policies and legislation
  • Competent knowledge of performance management system
  • Basic knowledge of team leadership
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain management legislation and regulations
  • Good governance skills
  • Competent knowledge and understanding of the Labour Relations Act and relevant workplace legislative framework
  • Operational knowledge of field-specific activities
  • Excellent office and general administration skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizing skills
  • Good computer literacy
  • People management and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively and a valid driver’s licence is compulsory.
