Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) Manager

Skills Development Planning (SDP) Department

Gauteng Head Office: Bedfordview

The successful candidate will report to the executive manager will be responsible for:

  • Evaluation and approval of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR’s).
  • Lead, coordinate and conduct workshops on WSP/ATR’s annually.
  • Identify and develop strategic projects within the sector funded by discretionary grants.
  • Register, train and support Skills Development Facilitators (SDF’s) within the sector.
  • Analyse and evaluate current systems and structures.
  • Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods and procedures.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and submissions.
  • Review mandatory grant policy and guidelines.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing on online system.

Minimum requirements: Degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification. 3-5 years’ in a related environment, 3-5 years’ at a management level and a valid driver’s licence.

Remuneration: R 762 458.00 – R 889 441.00.

Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) Officer

Skills Development Planning (SDP) Department

Gauteng Head Office – Bedfordview

Closing date for applicants: 11 August 2017

The successful candidate will report to the WSP Manager and will be responsible for:

  • The evaluation of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR) submission.
  • Monitoring of stakeholder activities to ensure compliance.
  • Overseeing and supervising administrators.
  • Developing and maintaining relevant databases.
  • Correct preparation of grant payments.
  • Compiling monthly reports on WSP and Projects statuses.

Minimum requirements: Degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification, 3 – 5 years in related environment and a valid drivers licence.

Remuneration: R 287 146.00 – R 364 384.00.

Learning Programme Administrator

Skills Development Planning (SDP) Department

The successful candidate will report to the Learning Programmes Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure that submitted documents are correct.
  • Keeping management informed of progress and sending out stakeholder’s correspondence timeously.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Ensure that records are safely, effectively stored and filed.
  • Assisting with the business plan implementation by processing information (Learnership submission).

Minimum requirements: Degree or National Diploma in Business Administration, Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification and 3-5 years’ experience in related environment.

Divisional Secretary

Skills Development Planning (SDP) Department

The successful candidate will report to the executive manager will be responsible for:

  • Administration duties in the executive manager’s office.
  • Administrative duties related to the line managers.
  • Manage stakeholders who are liaising with the SDP division
  • Manage the activities related to submissions, requisitions and approvals.
  • Forwarding of documentation to the CEO and Board structures.
  • Approval and monitoring and evaluation schedules.
  • Able to write business correspondence and effectively managing all such correspondence sent to the division will be vital.
  • Collation and preparation of divisional reports require the person to have an integral understanding of the business of the division.
  • Establish and maintain a sound filing system for storage and easy retrieval of documents.
  • Manage divisional office supplies.
  • Manage attendance registers.

Minimum Requirements: Relevant Post Matric Secretarial certificate or Diploma with 3-5 years secretarial experience. Good and professional skills communication is a requirement for the job.

Remuneration: R 263 255.00 – R327 469.00.

Learning Programme Officer

Skills Development Planning (SDP) Department

Gauteng Head Office: Bedfordview

Closing date for applicants: 11 August 2017

The successful candidate will report to the Learning Programme Manager and be responsible for:

  • Monitor, evaluate, coordinate and report on outputs set out in the annual performance plan in relation to the implementation of apprenticeships and skills programme in particular.
  • Prepare statistical data and generate reports related to these learning programmes.
  • Supervise learning programme administrators and function on level between the manager and the administrators.
  • Evaluate Memorandums of Agreement and Employer reports for the purpose of facilitating discretionary grant payments.
  • Prepare Seta Quarterly Management Reports for the sub-division and oversee the preparation of supporting documents in a well-maintained filing system.

Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification. 3-5 years in related environment. Valid Driver’s licence.

Projects Administrator

Skills Development Planning (SDP) Department

The successful candidate will report to the Projects Officer and be responsible for:

  • For performing all the administrative tasks related to the project implementation including the capturing and registering of learners on the projects.
  • Prepare documentation, compile information relevant to projects, and update project plans.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders who are participating in HWSETA projects.
  • Required to perform general secretarial and administrative duties.

Minimum requirements:  Degree or National diploma in Business Administration,  Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification. 1-3 years’ experience within a project management environment, a Project Management certificate will be advantageous.
