Current Vacancies

Director: Evaluation & Learning (Jobs Fund)

  • Reference Number: G05/2024
  • Type: 24-month fixed-term contract
  • Location: Pretoria
  • Salary: R1,216,824 per annum (all-inclusive, Level 13).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in Development Studies, Public Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in relevant disciplines are advantageous.
  • 6-8 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating projects/programmes, with at least 5 years in middle/senior management.
  • Proficiency in programme monitoring, evaluation systems, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Jobs Fund-wide Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the M&E unit.
  • Ensure effective reporting and knowledge sharing for project success.
  • Lead evaluations and contribute to organisational learning initiatives.

Analyst: Economic Research (Jobs Fund)

  • Reference Number: G06/2024
  • Type: 24-month fixed-term contract
  • Location: Pretoria
  • Salary: R858,607 per annum (all-inclusive, Level 12).

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields (NQF Level 7).
  • A Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in economic research, project evaluation, or a related area.
  • Knowledge of economic modeling, data analysis, and economic development theory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support economic policy development.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Monitor economic trends and their impact on funding and investment decisions.
  • Support the implementation of economic initiatives aligned with the Jobs Fund objectives.
