Minimum Requirements:
- A B Degree/B Tech (NQF Level 7) in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA/MBL) advantageous
- 6–10 years operational management experience, with 5 years at Senior Management level
- Experience in the Financial Services sector, particularly in Pension Fund or Employee Benefits
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, benefit administration, and compliance management
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Programme 2.1 strategy, covering medical benefits, military pensions, and injury on duty claims
- Oversee operations, financial performance, legal, and risk compliance
- Manage stakeholder relationships and special pension services (e.g. medical subsidies, COIDA, Military Pensions)
- Drive service delivery improvements and ensure alignment with national directives and Treasury regulations
- Represent the GPAA in strategic forums, manage risk, and optimize internal resources and personnel

Minimum Requirements:
- A B Degree/B Tech (NQF Level 7) in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
- CA (SA), CIMA, or equivalent professional certification highly recommended
- 6–10 years financial management experience, with 5 years at Senior Management level
- Financial services or pension fund experience a strong advantage
- In-depth knowledge of PFMA, IFRS, budgeting, SCM, and governance
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage GPAA’s financial strategy and operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, financial reporting, and investment accounting
- Develop budgets, forecast revenue and expenditure, and support the GEPF Board on financial matters
- Oversee supply chain, taxation, and internal control processes
- Manage teams to deliver on strategic financial goals with efficiency and accountability
