Minimum Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • An undergraduate qualification specializing in Electronic Engineering, Analogue Electronics, or Digital Electronics.
  • The successful candidate must enroll in doctoral studies within three months of appointment.

Additional Recommendations

  • Teaching or tutoring experience in Electronic Engineering.
  • Competency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • E-learning experience is an advantage.

Conditions of Employment

Selected candidates must:

  1. Commit to a 6-year participation in the New Generation of Academics Programme (nGAP).
  2. Register for doctoral studies within three months of appointment.
  3. Work closely with their supervisor and mentor, adhering to the study plan and milestones.
  4. Participate in the SSAUF Development Programme, completing at least one research or teaching development short course/module annually.
  5. Avoid duplicate funding from state sources and disclose any external funding offers.
  6. If leaving before completing the program, reimburse the University for tuition fees, mentoring costs, infrastructure, conference costs, and a percentage of the salary paid.
  7. Participate in research, monitoring, and evaluation activities related to the nGAP program.
