- Ref No: DOT/HRM/2025/01
- Location: Pretoria
- Salary: R1,436,022 per annum (Level 14)
- Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 7 Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or Auditing
- 5 years’ experience in a senior management finance role
- Completion of the National School of Government’s SMS Pre-Entry Programme
- Strong knowledge of PFMA, risk management, and financial controls
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee driving licence production operations
- Develop and maintain IT and risk management frameworks
- Manage financial administration and budget for the Driving Licence Card Account Trading Entity
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Lead and manage the Chief Directorate team
2. Chief Director: Road Engineering Standard

- Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 7 Qualification in Civil Engineering
- 6 years’ experience in road infrastructure development and management (5 years at senior management level)
- Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist (Advantageous)
- Completion of the National School of Government’s SMS Pre-Entry Programme
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update road infrastructure standards and guidelines
- Oversee road construction and maintenance technology
- Manage Road Asset Management Systems (RAMS) in line with GIAMA compliance
- Lead road safety audits and disaster management initiatives
- Drive policy implementation and research within road engineering
Additional Information
