1. Cluster Manager: Court Interpreting

Location: Magistrate Office, Worcester
Salary: R444,036 – R532,602 per annum

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (NQF level 4) and a National Diploma in Legal Interpreting (NQF Level 5) or other relevant qualifications.
  • Proficiency in English and two or more indigenous languages.
  • At least six years of practical interpreting experience, with three years at a supervisory level.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Key Duties:

  • Manage the cluster’s legal interpreting and language services.
  • Develop and implement a business plan for legal interpreting services.
  • Oversee human and non-human resources in the interpreting services department.
  • Manage training and development programs for court interpreters.
  • Ensure compliance with the code of conduct for interpreters.

2. Assistant Director: Supply Chain Management

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification at NQF Level 7.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management at a supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of SCM acquisition practices and National Treasury Regulations.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Key Duties:

  • Manage the demand for goods and services in the province.
  • Oversee procurement services and ensure compliance with acquisition policies.
  • Monitor contract administration and manage performance risks.
  • Coordinate and maintain the list of prospective providers for quotations.
  • Manage resources within the Supply Chain Management section.

3. Legal Administration Officer (MR1 – MR5): Tribunals and Quasi-Judiciary Administrative Support

Requirements:

  • LLB degree or a 4-year recognized legal qualification.

  • Implement National Policy Framework for Tribunals and Quasi-Judiciary Administrative Support.
  • Conduct research on tribunals and quasi-judiciary support, analyze data, and report findings.
  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives related to tribunals and quasi-judiciary administration.
  • Provide effective people management.
